Criminals suggested to remove the fees for a memoir

The Deputy of the state Duma Ivan Sukharev have proposed the Prosecutor’s office to deprive international criminals of the fees for the publication of their memoirs. It is reported by RT.

According to him, convicts have no right to get material benefits from the notoriety they gained from their crimes. As an example he cited the situation when a historian dismantler Oleg Sokolov has declared its intention to write a memoir-confession and capitalize on this.

Sukharev proposes to transfer due to the authors of the payments as compensation to victims of their crimes. The MP said that by April the bill will be submitted to the deputies, this will take into account the opinion of the Prosecutor General’s office on this issue.

Earlier, on 18 January it became known that “God Kuzya” Andrei Popov after his release, he decided to engage in literary activities. He said that he began to write poetry and books.
