Participants of the international conference on Libya in Berlin agreed to terms of settlement of the situation in the country. This was announced by German Chancellor Angela Merkel, reports TASS.
According to her, the conference participants agreed on an embargo on arms supplies to the conflicting parties and the enhanced monitoring of the implementation of that decision. “We agree that we respect the embargo and that it should be controlled stronger than before”, — said Merkel, noting that the conflict in Libya can only be a political solution.
She called the talks serious and intense.
