Teachers of Russian schools of Ukraine will send to professional courses, where they will train Ukrainian. About it reports “Interfax”.
The head of the Ministry of education Anna Novosad explained that this is done to improve the level of training of teachers. The course will focus learning specific terminology.
Novosad said that for students to be introduced an adaptation period to go to the Ukrainian terminology in the study of school subjects.
16 January Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted the bill “On complete General secondary education” that terminates in the country of Russian-speaking school from September 2020. National minorities whose languages are languages of the European Union, will move to a softer version of Ukrainian-language education and preservation of the subjects in their native language in 2023.
In September 2017, the then President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has signed the law on education, according to which in 2020 the whole process of learning in the country should go into the Ukrainian language. Against the adoption of the law made by Hungary, Romania, Moldova, Bulgaria and Russia.
