Ukrainian journalists revealed the value of the new year’s holiday President Vladimir Zelensky in Oman. An investigation published by the TV channel “Direct”.
According to journalists, during a trip to Oman Zelensky lived in one of the most expensive hotels in the country, the Al Bustan Palace in the presidential Suite. They calculated that accommodation and meals at the hotel cost him 520 thousand hryvnia (1.3 million rubles).
On the basis of expenses for travel journalists suggested that just on holiday in Oman Zelensky spent about 2.5 million (a 6.3 million).
They recalled that according to Ukrainian law the President is obliged to declare spending the rest, if they amount to more than 105 thousand hryvnias.
In early January Zelensky and members of his family noticed in Oman. Sources reported that the Ukrainian President had gone to rest, but later, the press service of the head of state explained that it was negotiating with local officials.
January 8, the Ukrainian leader cut short his visit to Oman and returned to Kiev for the crash of Ukrainian aircraft in Tehran. The crash killed 176 people, responsible for the deaths of the liner took over Iran.
