Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Dmitry Razumkov stated that at the next session of the Parliament can consider changes to the Constitution to reduce the number of MPs. He declared it on air of ICTV TV channel, the video is available on YouTube.
“I think so. There is a decision of the constitutional court”, — said the speaker of the Ukrainian Parliament, responding to a question the presenter of the program “Freedom of speech”.
The Razumkov expressed regret that judges had rejected the bill on deprivation of Deputy mandates of “button pushers” and truants. “I think if MP knopkodavy or does not perform his functions, he had nothing to do in Parliament, let them go to do something else,” said Razumkov.
A bill providing for the reduction of a DePuy corps to 300 deputies, as well as the introduction of a proportional electoral system in Ukraine, registered in the Parliament on 29 August 2019. At the moment he has passed the relevant Committee of the Council.
The next session of Parliament will begin on February 4th. Now in the Ukrainian Parliament of 450 deputies elected for a term of five years.
