The Ministry of foreign Affairs of Russia has commented on reports about the care of the head of Department Sergey Lavrov, who popped up after the resignation of the government. The message published on the website of the Ministry in Facebook.

In particular, it drew attention to the publication about the possible resignation of Lavrov’s Telegram on some channels. “Remember: we are what we read. Don’t be anonymous channels,” warned the Agency.

Acting Minister of foreign Affairs of Russia Sergey Lavrov left the post of foreign Minister in the government of Michael mishustina. The corresponding decree on 21 January, was signed by the President of Russia Vladimir Putin.

Earlier, Lavrov to the question about the desire to remain the foreign Minister said that acting in accordance with the instructions. January 16, Lavrov pointed out that all the years he’s not just in positions but always honestly doing their work.

Lavrov, left his post on January 15, when at that time Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev announced the resignation of the entire government. Before that, in the period from 1994 to 2004, Lavrov was a permanent representative of Russia to the United Nations and the UN Security Council.
