The Minister of education and science of Ukraine Anna Novosad complained about the inability to have children due to low wages. She told about it in interview to Agency “Interfax-Ukraine”.
According to her, the monthly income of 36 thousand UAH (90 thousand) only enough to normally live. Novosad said that she now earns less than he received as the head of the Directorate in the Ministry of education.
“I have my own housing, a company car, I don’t have time to go to the movies. But if you ask me, am I OK with this as a person who needs to think about his future, about savings, about pensions, it’s not enough” — said the Ukrainian Minister.
The Novosad said they should get competitive salaries, to avoid a situation “when I just can’t live in Kiev.”
On 17 January President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky called on the government to create a new concept of salaries in the ministries, departments and state-owned companies. He noted that wages would be “normal” for the current situation in Ukraine.

On 12 December the Minister of justice Denis Malyuska said that when he started working at his post, the monthly received 16 thousand UAH (43 thousand rubles). The situation with payments has changed in November, now Maluska monthly earns 29 thousand UAH (78 thousand), but this amount also does not suit him.
In early December the Minister of economic development, trade and agriculture of Ukraine Tymofiy mylovanov also said that living on their own savings, and the money to him for Ministerial work paid by the state, “just enough for the Uber”. In November Milovanova paid 64 306 UAH (172 thousand).
