Acting Minister of internal Affairs Vladimir Kolokoltsev will retain the post of interior Minister in the government of Michael mishustina. This is stated in the decree of the President of Russia, published on January 21 on the Kremlin website.
The decree entered into force from the date of signing.
Vladimir Kolokoltsev was born in 1961, he began his service in the police in 1982, and in 1989 he graduated from the Higher political school of the Ministry of internal Affairs of the USSR in Leningrad.
In 2007 Kolokoltsev was appointed head of the Department of internal Affairs across the Oryol region. In April 2009 the first Deputy head of the criminal investigation Department of the MIA of Russia. In September of the same year he headed the Main internal Affairs Directorate for Moscow. In may 2012 appointed Minister of internal Affairs of the Russian Federation in the government of Dmitry Medvedev, in 2018, reappointed to the post by the decree of President Vladimir Putin.
Vladimir Kolokoltsev — General of police, honourable employee of bodies of internal Affairs of Russia. He was awarded medals “For distinction in protection of public order”, “For valour in service of the interior Ministry” has the sign “Honorary police officer”.
