Ukrainian actress Irma Vitovskaya said about the necessity of introducing in the country the test for citizenship. She told about it in interview to “the Ukrainian truth”.
In her view, to pass the citizenship test needs everything, “from the bright patriots and intellectuals to the bottom”.
In this examination, it proposed to include questions on Ukrainian history. In particular, whether the famine crop failure or a deliberate genocide; whether the Polish campaign the red army in 1939, the results of which Western Ukraine was part of USSR, occupation of part of another country, or release.
“Here, in fact, to such questions people must answer. The man who failed the tests, is not permitted to drive strategic business: roads, mass media, gas stations”, — said Vitovskaya.
The Holodomor — the famine, which covered the territory of the Soviet Union, including Ukraine, in 1931-1932. Victims of hunger across the country are about eight million people.
Polish campaign the red army began on 17 September 1939 after the invasion of Poland Nazi Germany on 1 September of the same year. At the end of this campaign in the Soviet Union included the Western Ukraine and Western Belarus.
