American fighter mixed martial (MMA) Donald serron received a medical ban on the performance after knockout of Irishman Conor McGregor. It is reported by The Sun.
According to the publication, the management of the ultimate fighting championship (UFC) has suspended American from fighting due to struck by an opponent injury. The ban applies to the next six months.
After the match, serron was taken to the hospital because of damage to the nose and head trauma. Clarifies that American will be able to re-enter the octagon only after obtaining the permission of the doctors and a new medical examination.
Fight McGregor and serron was held on 19 January (Moscow time) on the UFC 246 in Las Vegas. The Irishman knocked out his opponent in 40 seconds. After the match, the McGregor’s coach John Kavanagh called the new desired opponent fighter. According to him, the Irishman must fight with American Justin Gati.
