In the first days of its work the new government of Russia will begin to edit the budget and pensions. Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin has instructed to develop amendments to the Federal budget and the budget of the Pension Fund for the year 2020 and the planning period of 2021 and 2022. The order published on the government website.
The executors named by the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of labour. Amendments should be prepared in the period up to February 11. The reason for the order was the message of President Vladimir Putin to the Federal Assembly on 15 January, after which the previous government resigned.
January 21, was approved the new composition of the government. Mishustin said the main task of his Cabinet of Ministers to ensure growth of the Russian economy. One way will be the implementation of national projects, which, said the Prime Minister, until this proceeded slowly.
Fully updated social unit, partly economic, and the military, with the exception of the Minister of justice, remained unchanged. The Cabinet of Ministers included 31 people, including nine Deputy Prime Ministers — one less than a year ago. Also abolished the Ministry for North Caucasus Affairs, its functions transferred to the Ministry of economic development.
The Finance Minister left Anton Siluanov, but the position of first Vice-Premier took referred from the administration of the President Andrei Belousov. The head of the Ministry of labor appointed 39-year-old Anton Kotkov, who had been Deputy Minister of Finance.
