The authorities of Belarus should be ready to pay more for oil if you buy fuel reverse from Europe instead of importing from Russia. The consequences for Minsk predicted by the expert of the International financial center Vladimir rojankovski in an interview with Sputnik Latvia.
According to him, Belarus will waive the overpayment for the oil, not after a year.
Earlier, on 21 January, the head of “Belneftekhim” Andrei Rybakov said that the Republic has found a replacement for Russian oil. According to him, is already “almost ready” contracts for alternative supplies to Belarus. While Fishermen did not specify which suppliers the company will purchase oil, but stressed that the agreement apply to the product, and logistics.
Belarus have agreed on the supply of Russian oil in 2020. In Minsk demand the abolition of premiums for Russian oil companies, as tax reform has made procurement more expensive as well as damages due to supply of “dirty oil”. According to the President of the country Alexander Lukashenko, conditions in Russia are such that if Belarus will accept them, will be buying oil at prices higher than the world. Against this background, the country seeks to diversify oil supplies to its refineries.
