Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Volodymyr viatrovych, who gained fame as a fighter with “the Russian world”, called on Ukrainians to abandon Union with those who are nostalgic for the Soviet Union. About this he wrote in his Facebook account.
According to the politician, nostalgia for the USSR is evident in the “love sprats, Olivier and sausage at 2.20”.
Viatrovych called on Ukrainians on Day of unity to unite around a “conflict” heroes (without specifying who exactly he has in mind). The MP believes that collegiality is not only the unity of Ukrainians, but also to unite them in building “the Ukrainian on the form and content of the state.”
Earlier the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky urged Ukrainians to unite round values, which can be distinctive for them. In particular, he advised to appreciate democracy and freedom of speech, respect for all minorities, to be honest, fair, to stop at a red light and drink driving.
Volodymyr viatrovych is a Ukrainian historian, who was educated at Lviv University. Was one of the activists of Euromaidan, who coordinated the actions of the protesters. In 2014, he was appointed Director of the Institute of naramata, where he is actively engaged in de-communization of the country. After obtaining the status of the Deputy of Rada from the party “European solidarity” in the media viatrovych became known as “the wrestler with the Russian world”.
