The war in the Donbass can end, if you want to all parties, said the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky during a speech at the world economic forum in Davos. About it reports “RBC-Ukraine”.
“We are unable to completely stop the fire and lose our Ukrainians. But I believe in the light, but don’t want to think that this is the light at the end of the tunnel,” said Zelensky on the situation in the East of the country.
The President of Ukraine has underlined readiness “to stop today,” armed conflict, if desired the other side, as Kiev “protect their land”.
On 21 January the Minister of defence of Ukraine Andriy Zagorodnyuk said that in Kiev are opposed to the withdrawal of forces across the demarcation line in the Donbass. In his opinion, this process can take years and for this to turn into a frozen conflict.
