In Moscow, the local LGBT activist Dmitry Yartsev has complained to the Investigative Committee because of the beatings by the security forces at the police station. He allegedly wringing his hands and called “ginger dick”. It is reported by “the Media” with reference to the press service of the LGBT group “Stimulus”.
According to the newspaper, he was detained in the anti-fascist March, in which he came out with a banner “LGBT people against repression”. Yartsev says that the paddy wagon, he was hit in the side of one of the national guard and two police officers with a force pinned him to the bus, with the result that he allegedly received a head injury.
In the end, Yartsev was taken to the police station on the Arbat district. There he wrung his hands, not allowed to come to his lawyer, and was called “Ryzom dick”, says Yartsev in a statement.
Yartseva was accused of promoting sexual relations among minors (article 6.21 of the administrative code). The next day in the emergency room he was diagnosed with bruises of the soft tissues of the head and thorax.
Anti-fascist March in memory of lawyer Stanislav Markelov and journalist of “Novaya Gazeta” Anastasia Baburova, which was attended by the victim, is annually held in Moscow on January 19. This year the event was coordinated by 500 people.
Markelov and Baburova were shot dead in Moscow on 19 January 2009, members of the radical nationalist grouping “Combat organization of Russian nationalists” (BOURNE). The executors of the murder is recognized as the nationalists Nikita Tikhonov and Yevgenia Khasis. The first got a life sentence, the second 18 years in prison. Founder and leader BORN Ilya Goryachev also sentenced to life imprisonment.
