Krasnodar regional court refused to reduce the term of arrest of the Russian fighter of the mixed style (MMA) fighter Alexander Emelianenko. It is reported by RIA Novosti.
Emelianenko was asked to cut a week of detention for up to three days. The court considered the appeal of the athlete and turned him down.
21 Jan Emelianenko was arrested Anapa court for a drunken brawl in the village of su-psekh, where he was preparing to fight against fellow countryman Magomed Ismailov. The court sentenced the athlete to seven days of arrest for disorderly conduct.
In March last year, Emelianenko was arrested in Kislovodsk and found guilty of disobeying the police. The fighter, being in an alcohol intoxication, was arrested driving a Mercedes after he fled the scene of the accident.
Ismailov challenged Emelianenko 19 December 2019. The fight between the athletes must pass 3 April 2020 tournament ASA 107.
