U.S. Secretary of state Mike Pompeo was angry at the lead Mary Louise Kelly during an interview on radio station NPR after she asked a question about Ukraine.
In the interview, the journalist wanted to change the subject and asked whether it is necessary to apologize to the former U.S. Ambassador in Kiev, Marie Yovanovitch. In response to Pompeo noted that he had come to talk about Iran. “I know, what was our policy towards Ukraine during three years of this administration. I’m proud of the work we did,” he said.
After questions about Ukraine interview is over. Pompeo stood up and leaned for a few seconds and stared at Kelly, before leaving, the newspaper notes. After some time the lead was called to a conversation with the Secretary of state for the record, during which he swore because of the fact that he was asked about Ukraine.
