The renovation programme should be developed throughout Russia. This was stated by Vice-Premier Marat Khusnullin in the program “Vesti on Saturday” with Sergei Brilev on the channel “Russia 1”, RIA Novosti reported.
According to the Deputy head of the government, was previously in charge of the renovation of the Moscow mayor’s office, to start distribution of the program with major Russian cities. Khusnullin noted that the renovation will require a large financial investment. “But to take on the program is necessary, because the house is “older”, and quite a serious pace, and this question must be resolved,” he said.
In 2017, the program of renovation of old housing was launched in Moscow. By 2021, it plans to relocate about five thousand homes. Initially, a list of launch sites program includes over 200 sites, now it increased to 242 sites and continues to grow. The first participants of the program moved to a new apartment in February 2018.
November 26, 2019, the head of the Department of construction of Moscow Andrey Bochkarev (21 January 2020 holds the position of Deputy mayor for urban policy and construction) announced that the residents of renovated houses will be able to save up to 50% of the base level of costs of resources consumed.
