Law enforcement officers detained a man with a passport of a citizen of Japan while trying to obtain secret documents about the military potential of Russia. This was reported in the Ministry of foreign Affairs of Russia, RIA Novosti reported.
The man was detained in Vladivostok.
In connection with the incident in the office was called the Counsellor of the Embassy of Japan in Moscow. Japanese diplomats protested. As noted in the Russian foreign Ministry, who was arrested for trying to obtain classified material was in Russia on a journalistic visa.
