President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko wanted to attend the Victory parade in Moscow may 9, 2020. This was stated by Russian Ambassador to Belarus Dmitry Mezentsev, reports RIA Novosti.

The Belarusian leader accepted the invitation of the President of Russia Vladimir Putin to participate in the celebration of the 75th anniversary of the Victory in the great Patriotic war, said Mezentsev.

16 December it became known that the celebration of Victory Day in Moscow there will arrive the President of France Emmanuel macron. Earlier, the President of the United States Donald trump also said that he wants to come to the Russian capital on the occasion of the anniversary of the Victory.

Commemorative events will be held in Moscow on may 9, 2020. According to Russian presidential aide Yuri Ushakov, the participation in them have confirmed 17 foreign leaders. In particular, he called the leaders of India, Cuba, Venezuela and Serbia.
