Russian airline “Ural airlines” has suspended flights to the island of Hainan, which is considered the favorite resort of the Russians in China, the outbreak of coronavirus. This was reported in the Telegram’s official channel of the carrier.
“On January 27, the airline Ural airlines suspends flight program on the island of Hainan (Haikou) from Yekaterinburg and Tyumen, for an indefinite period. The flights will be resumed after the normalization of the epidemiological situation”, — stated in the message.
In addition, representatives of the carrier has promised to return the money for tickets to China, purchased before 24 January departures before 7 Feb.
Also, according to “Interfax”, the flights to China were suspended by the airline Nordwind, which carried out transportation from Saint-Petersburg and Irkutsk to Guangzhou.
24 Jan Rostourism recommended to Russians to refrain from trips to China before the normalization of the epidemiological situation in the country. Travelers who are already in China, advised not to leave the hotel “with the exception of cases organized by the tour operator airport of departure”.
According to the latest data, there are 2835 cases of infection 2019-nCoV, including 81 deaths. Most of the infections occurred in China. The disease is identified outside of China — in Japan, South Korea, Thailand, USA. The Chinese authorities have isolated the inhabitants of the cities of Wuhan, Huanggang and Ezhou in order to limit the spread of the disease.
