Two Israelis accused of working for the Palestinian movement Hamas, a recognized terrorist organization in several Western countries. It is reported by The Times of Israel.
Sources in the Israeli security service Shin bet said that the 30-year-old Rami Amoudi and 34-year-old Rajab duck, Israeli citizens, were part of a spy group Hamas operating in the center of the country. In particular, they worked in the Gaza strip.
It is alleged that the men provided detailed information about Israeli security facilities, including military bases and police stations. One of them also shared information on the places in which landed launched rockets of Hamas: this was supposed to improve the accuracy of attacks on Israel.
In mid-January, the Israeli military launched strikes on the objects of Hamas in the Gaza strip in response to the launching of balloons with explosives. The helicopter of the defense army of Israel struck on the infrastructure used by Hamas in the Northern Gaza strip.
