One of the four suspects in the case shot down over Ukraine in 2014, the Malaysian Boeing MH17 had expressed the desire to participate in the trial. It is reported RIA Novosti with reference to the coordinator of public relations district court of the Hague, Monique Bunk.
According to her, the court addressed a certain legal firm that intends to protect the interests of the defendant in this case. “It’s the only thing we know. We don’t know whether this suspect to participate in court hearings in March,” said Bunk.
The name of the law firm, and the name of the suspect, the officer of the court did not elaborate, citing the secrecy of the investigation.
