The entangled in fishing line dead turtle brought a photographer Shane cross (Shane Gross) glory in the international competition of underwater photography Ocean Art. It is reported by news online to The Tribune.
Canadian diving instructor gross captured entangled in fishing line sea turtle in the coastal waters of the Bahamas in 2017. In that moment, when he took a picture of his girlfriend was nearby. “She was in tears, because the turtle became entangled and could not come to the surface, — says the photographer. The canadian has decided to take a picture of a dead turtle to draw attention to the problems of ocean pollution. He then removed the fishing line, to protect other underwater creatures. The turtles brought a gross first place at the international competition of underwater photography.
“This is happening in the ocean every day, but no one wants to look truth in the eye, — said gross. I hope this picture would compel people caring about their planet.”
