Assistant to the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky Andrey Ermak denied that Kiev has requested a meeting with Russian leader Vladimir Putin in Israel. On Thursday, January 30, reports “Ukrainian truth”.

“All that was spread in the media, and some statements [of the Russian presidential aide Yury] Ushakov, untrue. Any queries about the meeting was not,” said Yermak.

He added that Zelensky refused participation of the Ukrainian delegation in the world forum of memory of the Holocaust not because of the Russian President, who spoke at the event.

22 Jan Ushakov said that Kiev has requested a meeting Zelensky with Putin during his visit to Israel, however, the busy schedule of the Russian leader, the interview may take up. The next day the President of Ukraine said that their delegation refused to participate in the forum to send people who survived the Holocaust.
