“In Washington still believe that by restrictive measures can undermine the positive changes that occur in the Crimea since the reunification with the Russian Federation. Can’t deal with the success of the Russian authorities on the comprehensive development of this region”, — stated in the message. Among its successes, the representatives of Moscow has allocated the launch of a direct road and rail connections between Crimea and the main part of Russia. In addition, diplomats said that the new measures will not change the policy of Russia.

In the sanctions list includes the company “Grand Service Express”, which is engaged in railway traffic in the Crimea and its Director Alexander Ganov. Sanctions were imposed in relation to the acting Governor of Sevastopol Mikhail Razvozhaeva, Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Crimea Yuri Gianluca and the Senator from Sevastopol Catherine Altybaeva.
State Duma Deputy from the Crimea Mikhail Sheremet has compared the United States with “vindictive dog”, from which all turned away. According to him, us sanctions were the result of economic and political crisis in the country, which the authorities not in forces to overcome.
