The Russian Ministry of health called three drugs for the treatment of coronavirus, commonly used for HIV, hepatitis C and multiple sclerosis. This was reported on the website of the Department.

Doctors offered to treat coronavirus drugs Ribavirin, recombinant interferon beta lb and Lopinavir/Ritonavir. The first drug used for the treatment of hepatitis C, the second reduces the frequency and severity of exacerbations of multiple sclerosis, the latest medication used in the treatment of HIV.

On 29 January, President Vladimir Putin held a meeting with Deputy Prime Minister Tatiana Golikova, Minister of health Michael Murashko and head of Rospotrebnadzor Anna Popova — they discussed measures to prevent diseases in Russia.
