The all-Russian athletics Federation (vfla) deprived of the state accreditation by the Ministry of sports of Russia. This was reported on the website of the organization.
The validity of the accreditation is suspended until 1 March. According to TASS, this means that public funding of all sports events held under the auspices of the club, will stop temporarily. Thus, it becomes impossible to conduct the Championships of Russia, and hence temporarily cease funding for the regional teams, the assignment of categories and ranks, coaching and referee categories.
Earlier it was reported that the Russian Olympic Committee (ROC) along with the sports Ministry will consider the issue of the accreditation of the club and the resignation of all members of the Presidium of the organization. OCD and the Ministry expressed readiness to cooperate closely with the International Association of athletics federations (IAAF) and independent Athletics Integrity Unit (AIU).
AIU 29 Jan recommended to exclude wfla from membership of IAAF because of the case of the jumper Daniel Lysenko. The authority has also proposed to deprive the Russian athletes the right to compete at international competitions in neutral status. The results of the investigation to the end of 2019, the AIU found that the leadership of the club could be involved in falsification of documents proving the innocence Lysenko.
In 2015, the activities of the club was suspended due to systematic violations by the Russians anti-doping rules. Currently, the Russian athletes can participate in international competitions only after receiving the individual permit and neutral status.
