In the village of lysogorskaya in Ulyanovsk region one of the streets was named in honor of Russian President Vladimir Putin, to draw public attention to the problems with communications. About it writes “Kommersant”.

The decision on the name passed in December of last year, however, it remained unknown. Also in the toponymy of lysogorskaya appeared in the street Stalin, 75th anniversary of Victory, Veterans of Peace, Friendship and others.

Chapter Podkrovelnogo rural settlement Valentina Prokudin told the newspaper that a few years ago, it was 800 plots allocated for large families and combatants. But in the village there is no electricity, no gas and water supply, although the main lines are close by and you connect to it.

Local Council deputies responded to the requests of the owners and repeatedly applied to the district administration. However, the municipal authorities were excluded from the agenda the question of communications in lysogorskaya. Then, in desperation, the people decided to call out the name of the President. “Maybe at least now we will pay attention, after all, would be a shame, perhaps, that the 75-anniversary of Victory, Veterans of the street or street Putin would be in this condition,” concluded Prokudin.
