Russian singer Valery Sutkin denied entry to Ukraine. Information about this appeared in the Telegram-channel of the security Service of Ukraine (SBU).
The publication clarifies that this happened because of his “words about the advisability of the annexation of the Crimea broadcast on Russian TV channels”.
In 2014, the artist gave an interview to TV channel “Rain”. During the conversation with the journalist Yulia Taratuta Syutkin supported the inclusion of the Peninsula into structure of Russia: “Historically, if to speak about the Crimea, where the error was previously, when Nikita it with a light hand appropriated. As the operation was carried out by Vladimir Putin? Brilliant. Without blood, beautiful and historical justice may be served. Someone doesn’t like it? I think so.”
Valery Syutkin — honored artist of Russia and author of lyrics for the rock band “Bravo”. After leaving the band in 1995, the musician has created the group “Syutkin & Co” and recorded several albums. In 2019, has become a mentor for the eighth season of the show “the Voice”.
