Ukraine demanded to ban the “Servant of the people”

District administrative court of Kyiv has granted the claim to the Ministry of justice to ban the activities of the party “servant of the people”. This is reported by “Ukrainian news”.

The publication does not specify the identity of the plaintiff and the reasons for which he considers it necessary to ban the activities of the party. At the moment the court decides the opening of proceedings in the case.

Also, the plaintiff requires the court to examine the legality of the inaction of the Ministry of justice in respect of “public Servants”. In his opinion, the Department does not put the law monitoring compliance with “a Servant of the people” of its own Charter and implementation of Ukrainian legislation regulating the activities of political parties.

Earlier it became known that the musician Andrei Antonenko, who is suspected of involvement in the murder of journalist Pavel Sheremet has filed a lawsuit against Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky. The lawsuit on protection of honor and dignity handed Zelensky, but also the head of the interior Ministry Arsen Avakov, the first Deputy head of the National police Eugene Smith and the attorney General Ruslan Ryaboshapka here. The alleged killer Sheremeta believes that they have violated the constitutional principle of presumption of innocence.
