Canadian lawyers filed a class action against the Iranian authorities with the requirement to pay 1.5 billion canadian dollars (1.1 billion U.S. dollars) for the deaths of their fellow citizens on the plane, “Ukraine International airlines”, shot down in Tehran. About it reports Reuters.
The name of the main plaintiff is not disclosed because his family in Iran in danger of persecution by the Iranian authorities, explain the lawyers.
