Honored doctor of Russia, chiropractor Andrew Kabichkin opened the way to preserve the health of sedentary office work. He told radio Sputnik.
According to the physician in order to avoid scoliosis, office workers should observe the so-called “rule 90”. This means that when the seat between the housing and the anterior surface of the thigh should be straight angle. That way you should bend your knees. The foot should be level to the floor.
Kabichkin stressed that it is not necessary to sit in the posture “foot to foot”, because it is not only bad for your spine and joints, but also can lead to the development of varicose veins due to the compression of veins and slowing the blood flow. Doctor told me that varicose veins can contribute to the onset of blood clots.
Chiropractor advised everyone who works in the office, at least for a while to get out of the workplace “every hour or two” to avoid problems with the spine and strain muscles.
Informed doctor of medical Sciences, Professor Rina Zaslavskaya recommended break after every 30 minutes of work at the computer and do the workout. According to her, this will help avoid problems with posture, eyesight and veins. She also advised to do exercises in the morning, to RUB oneself with a towel after a shower and walk on the back massage.
