The new Consul General of China Choi Shaochun arrived in Yekaterinburg to official meetings, but were on a two-week quarantine. The diplomat was isolated, reports “Interfax” with reference to the representative of the Russian foreign Ministry in Yekaterinburg Alexander Kharlov.

According to the Agency, Shaochun arrived in Russia on 6 February. His plans were a number of official meetings, but they had to postpone the next two weeks he will spend at home.

It is also reported that 58 Chinese who arrived in Yekaterinburg on 7 February and was quarantined in a sanatorium “Fit”, feel good. 70 more Chinese citizens are staying at the hostel in the town of Bogdanovich, near Yekaterinburg. According to doctors, none of which in isolation is not identified virus.

On 10 February, the number of victims of 2019 coronavirus-nCoV has increased by 97 and amounted to a total of 908 people.

An outbreak of coronavirus was first recorded in Wuhan at the end of December 2019. In addition to China, the cases have been detected in more than 20 countries. The world health organization declared the outbreak of 2019 coronavirus-nCoV emergency situation of international importance. Experts do not exclude that the outbreak escalates into a pandemic.
