The self-proclaimed militia Donetsk national Republic (DND) Beness Ayo nicknamed Black Lenin was arrested in Arkhangelsk region at Ukraine’s request. About it reports Regnum.

Ayo was detained in Archangel the village of Yarensk. It is noted that he arrived in the region to support the residents of the village Shias who are protesting against the construction of garbage landfill, which was planned to take waste from Moscow. According to the newspaper, Ayo faces extradition to Ukraine.

Beness Ayo was born in Latvia in 1979 in the family of a Ugandan and a resident of Latvia of Russian origin. He graduated from Riga University, he studied in Britain, became a Communist, supported the “Russian spring” in Crimea. Ukrainian and Latvian authorities accused him of several crimes against the government.
