The state Duma rejected the bill on the moratorium on new raising the retirement age in Russia until 1 January 2030, thus refusing to prevent the possibility of the next reform. This writes the news Agency Regnum.
The bill was considered in the first reading. It was made in the lower house deputies from the Communist party and “Fair Russia”.
Against the initiative were made by the Committee on labor and lipolytica. They said that Russian legislation does not envisage the Institute “moratorium” on the adoption of any normative acts. This position was supported by most deputies. As a result of the discussion refused the offer.
In Russia from 1 January 2019 passes pension reform, under which the age of retirement increases. By 2024, it is gradually raised to 60 years for women and 65 years for men. Pretensioners are considered women at the age from 55 to 60 years and men aged 60 to 65 years.
