The Ukraine criticized the “Eurovision” for the Russian language and called the jury the “goats”

Ukrainian writer Larysa Nicoll criticized the participants of the first semi-final selection for the international song contest “Eurovision-2020”. This writes the FAN.

The discontent of the writer has caused the use of the Russian language. She reproached grew up in Donetsk, the singer Assol because she spoke Russian. However, she noted that the majority of participants in all the same spoke in the Ukrainian language. “Jumps from Ukrainian to Russian without even noticing it,” she said indignantly.

The writer also was dissatisfied with the jury, which she has called “goats” in conversation in Russian. However Nicoll said that the final will be released only in Ukrainian performers.

Earlier, the Minister of education of Ukraine Anna Novosad was accused of disrespect for society TV channel “1+1″, starred in the TV series in Russian. The television executives argued that artists are still hard to work in the Ukrainian language”.

16 July 2019 in Ukraine entered into force the law “On ensuring the functioning of Ukrainian as the state language”, which was developed by the government of the former President of the country Petro Poroshenko. According to the document, the Ukrainian language became mandatory for public authorities and local governments, educational institutions, hospitals and service sectors.
