Volsky district court of the Saratov region has sentenced two police officers who beat to death a detainee in the town cemetery. On Tuesday, February 11, reports TASS
A former employee of the patrol service of the Yuri Tines sentenced to 10 years in strict regime colony, his colleague Alexander Gudkov — to 10.5 years.
In September 2019 police Tines and hooters was arrested on the street a local resident Roman Malyshev, who was in a drunken state. In the service car between Pesnyami and the detainee had a conflict. Then the officers took the detainee to the cemetery to teach.
According to the investigation, the police struck Malyshev about 20 punches and kicks and then left to die beaten. The man died from multiple chest injuries, broken ribs, rupture of the lung and massive blood loss.
Police opened a criminal case at once under two articles of the criminal code of the Russian Federation: 286 (“Excess of powers of office with application of violence”) and 111 (“Deliberate causing of heavy harm to health, entailed on imprudence death of the victim”).
The tines fully admitted his guilt, Gudkov first wrote a confession, but later abandoned it.
