In Thailand, a tourist was found dead in the water with a huge 8-pound boulder tied to his neck. About it writes Daily Mail.
The body was discovered on Tuesday afternoon, February 12, 400 metres from the coast of Pattaya. According to the newspaper, the deceased was a man about 50 years old, he was dressed in denim shorts, gray t-shirt and flip-flops. Nearby was also found a leather backpack with charger for phone, neck pillow and other personal belongings.
The police establishes the circumstances of the incident, a forensic medical examination. Law enforcement agencies will have to find out, killed a tourist from drowning or he was first murdered and then thrown into the water.
On 1 February it was reported that a Russian citizen drowned while swimming at Patong beach in Phuket. According to local police, 34-year-old woman tried to resuscitate the rescuers still on the way to the hospital. Russian woman had to be hospitalized, but she soon died.
