Microsoft has released to developers the emulator of the Windows operating system 10X. Operating system designed for devices with two displays or a folding screen, reports The Verge.
The company released the system to developers so they can test their apps on the new interface before the final release. The publication reports that Windows 10X has an updated and streamlined design, the new “start menu” and two of the active area for applications. Also in the system is gone the tile elements that were present in Windows 10 and earlier versions of the OS.
Windows 10X built based on two displays, on which you can deploy one or more applications. On the first screen you can run a text editor on the second browser, the photo gallery or media player. In addition, when typing text, the virtual keyboard is in one of the screens. The publication notes that the system does not occupy all the space of the display, leaving active area for more applications.
