The first recorded case of death from the coronavirus in Japan. This is the second death from COVID-2019 outside of China. This was announced by the Minister of health, labour and social welfare of the country Katsunobu Kato, reports the Japan Times.
He said that he died from the coronavirus was a woman about 80 years old. According to Kato, she had nothing to Hubei province, which began the spread of the deadly disease.
It is noted that the woman lay in a Japanese hospital with pneumonia on 1 February. Her condition deteriorated on February 12, the day the Japanese woman died. The authorities are investigating the circumstances of her death.
