FSB officers detained a Russian citizen for sending fighters 25 million rubles

In Moscow, FSB officers detained a local resident for sending the militants of banned terrorist organization “Islamic state” of 25 million rubles. On Friday, 14 February, reports TASS with reference to the Center of public relations of FSB of Russia.

According to the Agency, the man was in the secret cell, which carried out the collection and transfer of money to the militants. The FSB has revealed the mechanism and financing of terrorists. It is noted that the illegal activity was foiled in cooperation with Rosfinmonitoring and the General Directorate for combating extremism of the interior Ministry.

On 7 February it became known that employees of military counterintelligence of the FSB detained the Deputy chief of the General staff of the Russian Armed forces Colonel-General Khalil Arslanov, who is accused of major fraud.
