Sukhoi Superjet failed trials for evacuation of passengers, held in early February, 2020. Its further operation is not possible, said Aviaexport, a former designer of the “Dry” Vadim Lukashevich in his Facebook.
While checking on the issue of emergency inflatable ladders correctly revealed only one, two more came out upside down, and one broke. Lukashevich reminded that, under current aviation rules, the evacuation from the plane in which more than 44 passengers, has to fit into 90 seconds, and it “is impossible in faulty emergency ladders”. Lukashevich urged to revoke the certificate of the aircraft to correcting defects emergency inflatable ladders.
In may 2019 the Sukhoi Superjet, carrying out flight Moscow — Murmansk, crashed at the airport Sheremetyevo. Shortly after takeoff, the crew of the aircraft requested an emergency landing. After a hard landing with full tanks there was a fire. In the result, 41 people were killed, 37 people were rescued. The cause of death of most of the passengers were the smoke and fire.
