Russia will find a ship to complete the “Nord stream-2”. This opinion was expressed by the head of the Austrian oil company OMV Rainer Seele, reports Bloomberg.
Green expressed confidence that Russia will find the right ship. However, he could not answer how pipe laying will be completed, and how long it will take.
The head of OMV noted that the technology for laying of pipes is not very complicated. “The only question is whether the installation of a ship for pipe-laying” — he stressed.
In December last year, the United States imposed new sanctions against the “Nord stream-2”. Washington demanded from companies, the leading pipe-laying, immediately stop construction of the pipeline. The result is a Swiss company Allseas announced the termination of the project.
In February, Gazprom said that the gas pipeline “Nord stream-2” is scheduled for the end of 2020.
