Tourists have called the most disappointing of their sights while travelling. This is stated in the results of a study of online service airline reservation Aviasales, reports RIA Novosti.
According to the findings, 26 percent of respondents remained dissatisfied with the visit to the Eiffel tower in Paris — in particular, they complained about the big line at the ticket counter and excessive concentration of visitors on the observation deck. 19 percent of respondents disappointed with the Blue mosque in Istanbul, namely odor inside and crowds of other tourists.
Another 16 percent of the respondents were impressed by the Egyptian pyramids — travellers talked about “heaps of garbage” in the area of interest. Other 13% regretted that called for swallow’s nest in Crimea, and said that “this place is nice only on the photos”.
In addition, the disappointing list of locations turned out to be the Charles bridge in Prague, the fountain “Manneken Pis” in Brussels and the Palace-Park ensemble Versailles in the suburbs of Paris.
On 30 January it was reported that the travelers chose the most desirable vacation spots in Russia. First Russian tourists of all ages, social backgrounds and spheres of activity want to go on vacation in Crimea and Sochi. Among the places with more active leisure the respondents most often named Altai, Baikal and St. Petersburg.
