Vice-Chancellor of the Moscow Patriarchate, the Archbishop of the Russian Orthodox Church Sava (in the world Sergey Tutunov), in his Telegram channel recognized offensive words of Archpriest Dimitry (Smirnov), who described civilian women as free prostitutes.
“Yeah, I know all kinds of comments about “Bible abuse” like “creatures echenevex”. But there is a social context that requires a certain lexical ethics. The use of such expressions in this context consider unacceptable,” wrote the priest.
At the same time he considered a fair indication of the words Smirnova at the irresponsibility of not wanting to marry men. “So it is rather a tragedy of a woman, not a reason to insult her,” added the Bishop.
On the inadmissibility of the statements previously Smirnov also said the state Duma Deputy Oksana Pushkin and Senator, Chairman of the Union of women of Russia Ekaterina Lakhova.
Earlier, Archpriest Dimitrii (Smirnov), head of the Patriarchal Commission on family matters, called the civil wives free prostitutes. He said that the civil wife — a temporary joy for men. To apologize for his words Smirnov refused.
