Russian taxi drivers have lost two thirds of earnings due to the progress and development of aggregators, allowing you to call a car with a driver through a smartphone app, says owned by Grigory Berezkin RBC, citing data from research, Higher school of Economics.

According to the calculations of authors, thanks to the aggregators, the number of users of a taxi in Moscow 2012 has grown six-fold — from 335 thousand to two million people. Currently, each user, on average, orders a taxi ten times per month as opposed to six times in 2012. the income of drivers over the same period fell in three times.

The total volume of the Moscow market in 2019 reached 157,3 billion rubles 324 million and completed travel. In 2011-15 years the annual growth rate amounted to 61% in 2016-19 years — 14 percent. However, the average bill over the past six years has declined from 627 to 484 rubles.

Without aggregators, the current size of the capital market would equal only 36,2 billion rubles, the number of trips is not exceeded 72 million, and the average check amounted to 620 rubles, the authors note. Together with increasing availability of quality suffers — Moscow residents began to complain about various violations and dangerous driving.
