Prime Minister of Russia Mikhail Mishustin signed an order that temporarily prohibits Korean nationals to enter the country. The restrictions will take effect from March 1, according to the government website on Friday, February 28.

The entry of foreign nationals will be limited at all airports, in addition to Sheremetyevo.

“The Russian foreign Ministry to notify the Republic of Korea, and other States whose interests may be affected in connection with the implementation of the Executive order on the measures envisaged, stressing that they are based on the special circumstances of a purely temporary nature”, — stated in the text of the document.

From 20 February, Russia has restricted the entry of Chinese citizens. In addition, in connection with the spread of the novel coronavirus Russia has suspended acceptance of documents, registration and issuance of invitations to enter the private and educational purposes for the citizens of China.
