Estonia has promised not to repeat some of the actions of Ukraine on combating the spread of coronavirus. The mayor of Tallinn Mikhail Calvert stated that city authorities will not limit the operation of public transport, according to ERR.ee.

Faction “Fatherland” in the city Council proposed to reduce the number of flights in response to falling demand. Calvert said that this is impossible. Despite the fact that the number of passengers decreased by 70 percent, the reduction of flights would increase the risk of infection.

“We see that the little people, but in the current situation is good. We will not artificially create a situation where people are forced to get on the bus, as is happening in Ukraine”, — said Calvert.

Earlier in Ukraine has restricted the movement of public transport and the number of passengers that can be in the cabin.
