Sobyanin urged Russians to refrain from traveling to Moscow

Moscow mayor Sergei Sobyanin urged residents of other regions of Russia to temporarily refrain from traveling to Moscow. About this he wrote in a personal blog.

“Moscow is always very welcoming and happy to receive guests. But these days I would highly recommend not to travel and not to expose themselves to unnecessary risk,” said the mayor. He added that the tourism industry of the capital is paused.

Earlier, Sobyanin has signed a decree toughening measures against coronavirus. So, from 28 March to 5 April 2020 stops the operation of the retail facilities, however, pharmacies and grocery stores will work without any limitations. My job suspend restaurants, cafes, bars, canteens and other public catering establishments, with the exception of the takeaway service without a visit to the premises and remote delivery of ready meals.
